I spent the best part of my young life watching other people live the life I was destined for. I saw glimpses of this elusive doppelganger in travel magazines and television shows like Nat Geo, BBC and Discovery.
At the end of 2008 I finally took the leap of faith and resigned from my 9 year career in the IT industry to pursue photography full time. After two years of relative hardship, I found my place in the sun when I met Justin Bonello at Cooked in Africa Films.
Now! Two years, thousands of kilometers and hundreds of thousands of frames later I am as happy as a clam at high tide!
I want to use this blog to record my travels, and share some of the joy I find in the awe of creation, the thrill of exploring the unknown, and eating beautiful food while I'm at it!
